Some Of My Favorite Restaurants
Bavettes!!!
All I can say is Wow!!! I love Bavette’s. Delicious steak perfectly cooked. The pomme frites are not to be missed with paired their garlic aioli, I could eat these and leave Bavette’s fully satisfied. The wedge salad is to die for. Located in the Park MGM hotel, Bavette’s is a stylish departure from steakhouse tradition, the restaurant embraces French flair without the formality, blending fine dining with unabashed fun. The housemade desserts are also delicious if you have room after the delicious steak and pomme frites. The gilded space features red leather banquettes, glowing chandeliers, and upbeat jazz music. Reservations are highly recommended. Book your table here.
Best Friend
Roy Choi’s Best Friend is another great choice while in Las Vegas, serving Chef Roy’s greatest hits and more from his famous LA food truck. All of this is remixed and remastered in a new way for Las Vegas. I recommend that you order 3 or 4 different items for the table and enjoy it family style. We loved the Korean Wings, the Spicy Pork and the Street Corn. Don’t forget dessert. Reservations are recommended. Book your reservation here.
Hell’s Kitchen
This restaurant by Gordon Ramsey is another one that we enjoyed. The pan seared scallops and the Lobster Risotto were delicious. We also enjoyed the baked macaroni and cheese. All three were delicious. For the finale, don’t forget the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Worth a visit just for the amazing dessert. I will say that this restaurant is somewhat a tourist destination, but, the food was delicious and is worth a visit at least once in your lifetime. Of course, souvenirs are available for purchase. Reservations once again are recommended. Book a table here.
Nine Fine Irishmen
Located in New York, New York casino and hotel, this restaurant was also one of my favorites. The signature dishes are made of only the freshest, natural Irish ingredients that pair perfectly with the finest stouts, ales, lagers, and spirits. I loved the traditional fish and chips. They were served hot, fresh and were perfectly cooked. The portion was large and delicious. Another dish at our table was the bangers and mash – also delicious. Not to be missed is the bread and butter pudding – absolutely delectable. The dining room is comfortable, but relatively small, so, don’t forget to make your reservation!
In-N-Out Burger
I know, I know. In-N-Out is not really considered fine dining. But, when you just want a quick inexpensive meal, this little joint can’t be beat. Especially when you live in an area that In-N-Out doesn’t have a restaurant. I love the single patty burger with everything on it, crispy fries and a chocolate shake. Yummy. Whether you are looking for a quaint little bistro or a fine dining location, you will find it in Las Vegas. I hope you enjoy your trip and I hope you try some of these offerings that I have listed.
Until next time.
